From research outputs to policy and practice

Research impact is when BDC's research is adopted by others: in policy, in professional practice, or in other researchers' work.

Policy and practice
  • ADiBA in public-sector data policy. BDC reports that the ADiBA framework is used in implementing the Public Sector Big Data Policy and has been applied in several government agencies. BDC also reported plans to take it to ASEAN level, including Brunei.

  • UTM's own data strategy. UTM Data-Driven Blueprint, handed to the UTM Registrar in June 2023.
